Across the last quarter of 2025, community volunteers connected with Scientology social programmes carried out a range of local activities in different European cities. The quarter’s roundup included local environmental and civic volunteering, alongside fact-based drug-prevention education and UDHR-based human-rights education activities delivered through partner programmes.
Activities were reported in Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Switzerland, with volunteers working with local communities, small businesses and civic organisations. Some initiatives also referenced *The Way to Happiness*, a secular moral code written by L. Ron Hubbard, as a framework for everyday responsibility and respectful conduct.
Ivan Arjona-Pelado, the Church of Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, commented: “Europe’s values are strengthened when citizens choose practical responsibility—keeping public spaces clean, civic responsibility Europe sharing factual prevention tools, and teaching the next generation that rights and dignity apply to everyone. Social cohesion grows through consistent, local action.”
